How's the quality of the Elisa? Does the gold plating hold up to reasonable tween girl wear and tear?

Yup. My 7th graders requested the Elisa this year.

Came here to suggest Gorjana which I see has already been mentioned. NOT Kendra Scott for a girl older than middle school.

Unless your niece is really into trends and labels, I’d forget about what’s popular. Instead, choose something classic that she’ll be able to wear in a number of settings for years to come. Alternatively, if you feel you know her particularly well, select something based on her specific personality and preferences.

We just buy no name gold or silver jewelry. Go to Bloomingdale’s or Nordstrom, find your budget and pick something pretty. Classic is perfect if you’re not sure of her style.

My 18yo (college freshman) has been into Gorjana, mostly earrings, but they have other things too.

She stopped wearing her Kendra Scott necklace about a year ago.
