This!! . How much is soccer, travel fees, gas to games, lunch afterwards, etc! Another $20-30 is nothing!

The side closest to skin is foam-ish and absorbs sweat.

I throw them in a laundry bag and wash every week when I wash cleats. I add white vinegar and arm & hammer to the load with the detergent. I replace them every every 2-3 months.

My son keeps his cleats and shin guards in his bag. His bag smells horrible. NEVER washed them ever. He's 17 and has played 4-6 days a week since he was 6. Just deal with it...but I am glad he drives himself now. : )

Wash them

Spray with Lysol and make sure they completely dry before putting them in a bag.

I wash the sleeves in the washing machine. And just wipe down the pad with clorox every week or so. But we have maybe 5 pair so he rotates through as needed.

We’ve cleaned with clorox wipes and spray with lysol, but really we just get new ones 1 or 2 times a year because they are only $10-$15
