I like this. I have 10 foot ceilings with cabinets that go all of the way up. I put things in the top cabinets when we moved in 5 years ago and haven’t touched them since. I’ve forgotten what’s up there.

We'd use them. It'd just be for things not used very often, not for daily/weekly things. Think: pie dishes, Christmas mugs, extra plates, vases, serving bowls and platters. I could name loads of thing I'd use. I have a few cabinets that tricky to access and they are full of "low use" items. And yes, we'd get a sturdy step stool. I guess if you are over 70 I might stop, but most healthy people in their 60s could still use a step stool.
