The only time yall want to talk about meritocracy is when someone wants to do something to close the gap centuries of white privilege have caused. You can't rig the game for generations, then claim to make it fair, but not do anything to address the massive advantages one group has gotten *because* the game has been rigged for so long.

Once Biden and Kamala opened the border back up, crime went back up. That’s no coincidence. Human, sex, and drug trafficking is all linked to the cartel sending drug mules to the country. That’s gone on for decades and Trump is the only president to care about the gangs, sex traffickers, and drug crime ruining America. This border problem was ignored by all former presidents
The vast majority of Black people are law abiding. Theses people want more and better protection from police, not less. They want to also feel safe in their communities instead of targets for violent crime. The Democratic Party is not focused on supporting these people. Instead they are focused on supporting and protecting the criminals.
Police don't protect people. The courts have upheld repeatedly that they are not required to protect you. Police are there to protect property and enforce the control of our government. That's it. This idea that they protect people or that they proactively prevent crime is entirely false, based on propaganda. Police are reactionary. Best they're going to do is show up after the bad thing has already happened, worst they do is become the bad thing themselves.

Yes meritocracy is wonderful when it works but the odds are stacked so high against many black men that we need to even the playing field for them to have a chance to show their merit.

1) Providing 1 million loans that are fully forgivable to Black entrepreneurs and others to start a business.
(2) Championing education, training, and mentorship programs that help Black men get good-paying jobs in high-demand industries and lead their communities, including pathways to become teachers.

1) This is almost certainly illegal to offer forgivable loans with an eligibility criteria based on race. It violates the civil rights act.
2)Sounds like a good idea and can probably get some bipartisan support for this one in congress.
3)I'm not sure how cryptocurrency regulations are an issue specific to Black men.
4)A health research initiative is also something that might get bipartisan support in congress.
5)Legalizing Marijuana is not a free lunch and there are numerous downsides to this idea. higher rates of car accidents, lung cancer, heart disease, etc. It's also kind of insulting to say that recreational drug use is a Black men issue and she threw a lot of men in Jail for Marijuana use as a DA.
Many people do not like identity politics and this may hurt Harris more than it helps her.
