Why not just wear knee high socks? That’s what I do. I hated skinny jeans because they were so hard to wear longer socks with.

I'm not OP, but here in DC, I also get cold in wide-leg jeans. I just... don't wear them when it is cold. They are more of a fall/spring piece of clothing for me.

Skinny jeans are cold. Colder than tights to me.
Straight leg allows some air (body heat) to pocket around your legs.

+1 I used to wear Cuddl Duds, and the older ones probably held up better than the Costco ones (32 below or whatever), but those are good for the price. If you are short and relatively small you can fit into the children's XL (for reference I am about 5'1" and around 115), and those are even less expensive.

I don’t like skinny jeans, so if I need extra warmth I wear leggings or tall socks under my jeans.

I live in a cold climate and I wear skinny jeans or straight legs in the cold with warm, flat boots. Wide leg jeans get put away for winter.

Yesterday I saw a woman in skinny jeans, heeled booties and a big dumb hat! She was so committed. Stick to your guns.

This 36y/o millennial is back the skinny jeans. They may not be trendy but I find them more comfortable and they look better on my body

Skinny Jeans are still being sold. Most people are buying what’s comfortable for,them.

If you look around people are wearing lots of different styles right now including skinny jeans. I think we can all look like we are trying way too hard chasing the Gen Z trends - before you know it your wide legs will be out!

I wear boots under them or chunky loafers with wool socks.

I still wear them. It’s not that big of a deal, you’re allowed to have your own style.
