+1 my rule of thumb is the more people post on social medial the mire unhappy and insecure they are irl.

If it makes you feel better, OP, we have play dates maybe once or twice a month on the weekends and no more. We otherwise hang out just us, with our families, with our friends (none have kids), at activities, or we’re traveling. No posts on social media about this, though we also don’t follow any of our son’s friends/classmates parents. Even if they follow us, neither DH nor I have posted in over a year, and our stories are limited to our close friends and family.

I do not care what anyone does with their own time unless they are posting pics of MY child on social media. That's a big no-no, and I don't know why people think it's ok.

I've never understood this. I just text those people pictures. If I care about you seeing DS enough to post about it, I probably have your number and communicate with you via phone.
