Both of us went to state schools, no scholarships, no parent financial help.

Above average EQ is more important than intelligence in outcome

Many have both. And find others who are both as well.

MANY do not have both.

What does that even mean?

Lol so funny. No measurements anywhere right pp? lol!

Usually it means graduating top 10% of your high school class, top 10% of act or sat, top 10% college gpa, top 10% mcat/ lsat/ gmat/gre, top grad programs, top jobs with 5% or less yielding offers, top 10% compensation.

And that’s accounting for the high wash-out rates you find from people quitting pre-med, stem programs, quant jobs, etc.

Its a combination which works best but for sure other than some specific jobs, EQ helps more for success is life.

High EQ helps a marriage survive, home run well, and parents children’s needs better than high IQ.
