Eyeroll..... I think we know what country club kids are. Sorry if this offends you. Now make sure you say hi to all of them tomorrow when you go to the club for dinner or throw your kids birthday party there.

that's not a nice generalization. you seem to lump everyone who belongs to a country club together, and have a negative opinion of them. some of the diversity students are not always friendly to the country club kids either. the trans kids are not pals with the athletes. not everyone is going to gel with everyone else. but can't everyone just be tolerant of each other?

We live in McLean and know/have known lots of (presumably) full pay Gonzaga families and several financial aid families (at least the families who have shared that info with us) but zero country club families.

Such a weird question. My son graduated from Gonzaga last year. We live in Northern MoCo and he was the ONLY student from our zip code. There are students from further north in Frederick, too. Not everyone belongs to a country club or is rich, for that matter. We received significant aid to send him there. There are students from all SES, zip codes, races and religions.

Some of you should get out more.

Actually, not. It is incredibly SES diverse. It also draws from very far and wide.

We live in DC and don’t belong to a CC. We don’t have the $$$ for a CC membership. No idea if other Gonzaga families belong to a CC

Gonzaga has 1000 boys. The zip code from which the most boys come is 22207 (Washington Golf). There's definitely a group of families that belong to that club and other clubs. +1. We’re also a Gonzaga family and I agree with this. Yes, there are some families who belong to country clubs. There are many who do not. It has a diverse student body and pulls from a number of different areas.


+1 though we are in N Arl (not 22207) with recent grads and none of the families in our neighborhood (current or former) are members at Washington Golf.
