no way, it was Schwimmer, and the producers knew it. That's why he was offered 1 million an episode and the rest weren't.
Courteney Cox claimed the deal for every member to get equal pay would not have come about unless she changed her contract. At that time she had more experience and exposure and her contract had a clause that she would always be the highest paid of the Friends cast.

Fools Rush In is when he had the jet ski accident and was prescribed pain killers, which, according to him, kicked off his addiction. Serving Sara is the movie that had to stop filming so he could go to rehab. He ended up paying them a bunch of money because of it.
He had addiction problems before Serving Sara.

Jennifer Aniston seems to play a version of herself in every role, except maybe the one where she was a cashier and wore little makeup.

Yes, and in 17 Again and on Friends and the other shows afterwards such as Mr. Sunshine mentioned by PP. His talent was able to shine through despite the addiction and personal turmoil. He really was a great actor.
