Thank your moms for not making this choice.
So you want to ban IVF?

We are not 3rd world in the south. And have renown medical facilities.

All civilized countries (including all of the progressive ones in Europe) have limits on abortion. We can discuss what those limits should be, but democrats won’t come to the table for the discussion.

What will you say to them when they need a D&C because they had a miscarriage and aren't able to get one and go into septic shock? What happens when their fallopian tube ruptures due to an ectopic pregnancy and they start bleeding internally? Does nobody think about the ramifications of their actions until it affects them individually? Southern states are trying to ban abortions in all instances - rape, incest, health of the mother. Why would you let your daughters, yourself, your nieces, your sisters, go through such pain? HOW IS THIS NOT IMPORTANT TO YOU!?! Why is your money more important than your health?
A D&C is not abortion. Managing an etopic pregnancy is not abortion.
Abortion isn't healthcare, despite the new spin.
NP (and a woman). Exactly this ^^. Nearly 96% of abortions are elective / are not performed specifically because of rape/incest, fetal abnormality, or the life/health of the mother. That is tragic and evil. If having a child is not something you want, there plenty of preventive options. Use them.
Where the hell are you getting this number from?
The current study revealed that 47.2% of pregnancy terminations were performed due to fetal structural malformations, 16.4% to genetic abnormalities and 36.4% to maternal/obstetrical indications

Believe it or not, women also have opinions about immigration, crime, crowded public schools, Title IX, and yes, even taxes.

Stop by your county health department to get free birth control.
Op - yea of course. But the only form of birth control that is 100% effective is abstinence. And I am pretty sure the Bible said we should submit to our husbands. Ahhh republicans and Christians are so very hypocritical!

OP - yes states can do something about it but many southern states are going even further in the right where it is not allowed at all. Many women don't even know they are pregnant at 6 weeks. Abortion should be allowed up to 24 weeks, which is 4 weeks after a normal anatomy scan.
I argue with my mom (staunch pro lifer) all the time about this. She insists if women get pregnant accidentally or by rape or whatever then they should just be forced to carry the baby and give it up for adoption. What she doesn't have any empathy for is how hard it is on a woman's body when they are pregnant. My body is permanently hurt due to my 3 pregnancies. All very much wanted. But I have terrible pains and I don't think I could carry another pregnancy even if I wanted to.
