We don’t even allow raw chicken to enter our door. We cook it outside, throw away all of the wrapping into its own plastic bag using rubber gloves, dispose of it in an outdoor trashcan and then bring the chicken inside once it has been thoroughly cooked to at least 165°.

We usually just leave it in the car trunk until it’s time to cook.

Op, my experience is that raw chicken will only last 2 days before it goes bad in my main refrigerator that everyone goes in to all day long. I have another fridge in my second pantry and chicken can last 4 days in that fridge. It is always wrapped in plastic bags placed on an old cookie tray. This is because you should assume the outside packaging is contaminated with raw chicken juices. Chicken is processed in such a way to be so dirty that you need to be very careful with raw chicken.

I wrap up separate portions in saran wrap then aluminum foil for the freezer if I'm not using it within 2-4 days.

Add a little bleach for food safety.

I just leave all of our groceries in the bags from the store until we are ready to eat them. Saves time unloading groceries.

You can keep it in the fridge (wrapped) until the “use or freeze by” date (like the store does).

I love that I can’t tell if someone is being sarcastic or are they really sharing what their chef does with the chicken.

OP probably wants to know how long you could safely keep raw chicken in a fridge and if there is one spot better then an other. Fridges have special drawers, etc. Ideally, raw meat is stored as low as possible to keep it from leaking on other food.

The question was strangely worded. ESL or just trying to get some specific answer by gaming the question.
