Lots of in house options. Trades are also an option.
I posted earlier in the thread and it seems like from when I was at a firm that most capital markets deal work was outsourced to the firm with in house counsel primarily assisting with gathering due diligence materials. I have worked with in house counsel on proxy statements and I assume someone in house manages their trading plans and possibly their Reg FD program although maybe that is a compliance person, unsure of that.

Am glad I started in BigLaw because I learned how to work my butt off and generate truly exceptional work product if needed. Glad I moved to gov as a 7th year associate when I was starting a family. Love the mission of the gov job and will miss it someday. But cannot wait to go back to biglaw after a decade in gov to minimum 3-4x my salary with the potential for way more after a while.
