We have 2 or 3 weekdays without activities and they come home and play with toys or dolls or draw/color. Sometimes I go on a bike ride with them or they just play outside. We also do 2 pages of kumon math per week night and four pages on weekends.

They are playing with toys now before their soccer game this morning.

Well the problem is OP’s kids don’t have enough downtime to know how to use it.

At least they have siblings. Mine (large age gap) just started playing together. For only children, most of their friends are probably in activities. No peers for old-fashioned olay

JFC they are little kids. Let them be kids. It’s ok to do nothing every once in a while. Relax!!!!

The start of this thread is so sad and true of today’s society. And exactly why kids need therapy today. They need to be able to have unstructured down time (without screens) to learn to self-regulate, interact with peers, “old-fashioned play”.
