Why Yale and not Princeton to Harvard?

Yale has the wealthiest old-school money.
Harvard has overinvested in FGLI.

Georgetown, AU (less so but still above average); University of Edinburgh in Scotland; DUKE in the US, Stanford.

St. Andrews, too. Some of the richest NE boarding schools send 5-6 girls per year there.

Almost every private top 40 plus the top slacs are filled with rich kids. Northeastern, BU, and Tulane are not filled with rich kids -- well to do maybe but not rich. Kids or normal doctors or even biglaw partners are well to do but not rich. Rich is another level. And there are tons of rich kids at all the top schools.

Universities with a heavy preponderance of students from the top 1%:

Princeton
Brown
Dartmouth
Brown
Yale
Vanderbilt
WashU
Georgetown
WashU

Anecdotally, SMU and TCU for super wealthy but academically average American students. And lots of rich international students at NYU, BU, and USC.
