JD Vance is such a hypocrit.

Last week, JD Vance was apoplectic about Gretchen Whitmer's tasteless Dorito joke.

“Gretchen Whitmer does this really bizarre thing, where she acts like she’s giving someone communion but it’s a Dorito,” Vance said during a rally in Wisconsin. “And of course, Gretchen Whitmer is not a minister of anything, except for a church I don’t necessarily want to talk about.”

He added, “But think about how sacrilegious that is. And think about how offensive that is."

Even after Whitmer apologized for the joke.

But then when a comedian that was opening for President Trump offends the Latino community with a tasteless joke about Puerto Rico, AND refuses to apologize, JD Vance's response is:

Sen. JD Vance said Monday that while he hadn't heard the racist jokes made by a comedian at his running mate's New York City rally the previous night, he thinks Americans need to "stop getting so offended."

In other words, Democrats need to stop getting so offended when Republicans make tasteless jokes about them, but Republicans have a right to be offended when Democrats make jokes about them.

What a tool.

Former President Trump phoned in to NewsNation’s town hall featuring his running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio), on Thursday night to ask what he called “quite an interesting” question.

“The answer should be easy: How brilliant is Donald J. Trump?” the former president asked Vance and NewsNation anchor Chris Cuomo.

Vance immediately responded with laughter before telling the Republican nominee that he is “very brilliant.”

“Well, first of all sir, you’re very brilliant. We both agree that it’s important to have very smart people running our government,” the vice presidential nominee said.


“That ability to relate to anybody in any environment, I think that’s the true brilliance of Donald J. Trump,” he added.


Trump thanked his running mate and immediately pivoted to ask about Vice President Harris’s town hall on CNN earlier this week.

Maybe he was eaten by a "childless cat lady" in Springfield, OH.

I think actually the explanation is the same reason you almost never see Harris and Walz together these days-- they are trying to cover as much ground as possible and target geographies and demos strategically so they are deploying everyone in the ticket (including spouses and surrogates) to different places.

We will see more unified ticket appearances from both parties in the final days. Walz will likely be at Harris's DC speech next week as well.

He is standing in Trump's shadow, self-tan face make-up on, swallowing his ozempic pills dutifully, agreeing with everything Trump asks him to say. He is pretty boring and charisma free, so his rallies get limited coverage.

Until someone actually listens to one of his many pod interviews he did from past 4 years and hears the horribly misogynistic things he saws about women who aren't being "good breeders". Then we remember he's there and will be Trump's VP and feel horrified.
