A lot of dentists recommend braces, but they don’t tell you to do it yourself with craft wire and superglue.

It is from a book called Breath by James Neator. It's a very interesting, well-researched book about the difference between mouth breathing and nose breathing.

The mouth tape thing is legitimate just get him better tape.

I don’t get enough air though my nose because I have a deviated septum. I think I would suffocate overnight.

My dentist recommended doing this but not with duct tape. I suppose the tape type isn’t massively important if not irritating but I guess your kid will find out!

NP. DCUM is as usual very confident about something it knows very little about. No, this isn’t just a TikTok thing. It’s been a fairly widespread practice among pro athletes for some time. He should be using medical tape, though.

Even paper tape would work. Get duct tape off him. Yes, lots of people mouth breathe and it's not healthy.

Buy him mouth tape. They sell it at target. But, also a sleep study would be better for him.
