Rec leagues almost always do not allow carded travel players.
So all these people posting that it happens in their rec leagues are breaking the rules, yet there are no consequences for it? Do I have that correct?
No. Each rec league has its own rules.

The 1 Travel Player destroyed the whole league. Single handedly lead the team to the Rec 4th grade championship. Talking 3-6 goals per game. The club used it as a recruiting tool to entice kids in Rec to try out for Travel. None of those kids switched over, but it was fun when we did it.
Bullshit.
Nope, former in-house club allows it. Kid played travel for for 3 years at that point, they allow 1 travel player per rec team in-house league. The skill gap was massive.
