Agree. Very common at Middle and High school age.

Both of my sons did it, however, they did not want to do it at their Travel Club so they moved to our "local" Club where they could at least play with some kids they knew from school/home.

Very common. Planning to move one of my kids back to rec next year, he misses playing with his friends.

I have know 1 or 2 HS aged kids who didn't want to play club and travel anymore but still liked the sport. Most just up and quit not move to lower levels.

I know several kids who found ADP to be too intense/physical and who came back to rec.
