Tons of politics, and I don't understand why a Deemer Class, who obviously runs BIC is now also involved with American Select and now Inside Lacrosse. Seems at the very least, to be biased. I am not a fan of a central "gate keeper". I hear nothing but great things on Class as a coach, but should he also be an evaluator of talent? How many club games does he actually attend? Outside of going to the big clubs, does he do his own evaluation of talent?

The substance is the quality of the players there and getting to match up against future D1 commits or current D1 commits. Top players from around the country are there so it's a lot of fun for the players attending. The inside lacrosse evaluators are there so it increases the probability and potential that your kid will be ranked nationally or get a five or four star rating. A player does not need a four or five star rating to get recruited or attend this event, but it definitely doesn't hurt in the big scheme of recruiting. There are no coaches there for recruiting, but you can get amazing highlight video to send to coaches and if you're already recruited, you get to play with your future teammates. It's a really fun event and run really well. It's only 45 minutes from the DMV area at Troy Park.

If you are sad about private school education being an advantage, then your sadness begins and ends with the failed public school system. You have some weird outlook where people aren't allowed to buy nice things. Those are also some of the highest taxed areas in the country so, yeah, I think they are allowed the "privilege" of complaining about how they have to pay for something which is so bad.

The local public schools are some of the best in the country. If someone wants a better option for them, have at it.

So It's not a privilege to move into those school districts even if the homes are more expensive? DCUM loves to have it both ways.

Wasn't commenting on the priviledge part, other than to say it's a free country. Was commenting on the so bad part. It's largely what you make of it, and a lot of places there's not some glass ceiling.

I think the point we are reading is IF you are on Capital blue follow their program. The other clubs seem to find some way to help get their kids recruited and allow kids to do fun events like IL so it’s ok to do the events if you can.
