It’s not the middle of nowhere, but Bethlehem isn’t the most exciting town.

100k, depressed PA towns aren’t exactly great college backdrops…but it is reasonably close to NYC and Philly.

Ignore the D1 sports comment. Ivy and Patriot league D1 sports aren’t Power 4 D1 sports. Not remotely close to the same atmosphere or student interest.

Surprised nobody mentioned it’s built into the side of a steep hill.

Great if you are looking to stay fit…but it gets old.

My kid isn’t applying to any of these bc they are urban.

We really disliked it on our tour. I know that was probably mostly our tour guide though we also really didn’t like the info session.

Not on your list…W&L fits your description. She should check it out. 70% greek(mostly everyone gets a bid if they are not picky), work hard, play hard atmosphere. Has a business school. Lexington is a cute town. Better weather than all those schools listed above.

Also, University of Richmond.

Bucknell is the Harvard of SLACs.

You need a new college counselor. Admit rate of most recent cycle was 25%. Not bad odds for a kid with those stats.

If she wants Greek life and a business school, why does she have LACs with no business school and no Greek on her list?

My Nephew is a fratty sort who was in the business school and loved it. He graduated with a good job (class of 2023) and has since moved on to an even better job.
I know 3 families with current freshmen boys. 1 fratty and loving it, the other 2 are nerdy and loving it.
