The ratios are different for tile 1 schools vrs non-title 1/ head start.
Though it may all be irrelevant soon. As they plan to cut headstart funding.

If you care about how much outdoor time, be sure to ask for the school policy on whether teachers may withhold recess as a behavior management tool. Also ask what they do when the weather isn't good-- some schools have nice spaces to use or creative arrangements, others don't have as much space. Also ask about temperature guidance.

Our school's PreK outdoor time is ~45-1hr per day.
