You throw away a perfectly good knife because you are too lazy to make it sharp again?

Yep, order in 1 minute. Easy. Give away old on buy nothing.

So inconvenient to have to wait for new knives rather than taking a few minutes to sharpen the ones you have. Do you not know how to sharpen your knives?

Not inconvenient if I’m not using it. My God can you not survive a day without a knife?

Are you a toddler? You sound like one.

I’m not sure why this is so triggering to you.

Says someone who responded with "My God can you not..."

Again, you sound like a toddler. And it is impactful on all of us when people throw away perfectly good things from their homes and contribute to the mountains of waste.

Name-calling and poor reading comprehension. I said I give them away on buy nothing.

+1 I have a bunch of pricey Japanese knives. I send them out to a pro about once a year.

Same. I use the hand held sharpener that came in the knife block.

I use Japanese whetstones. It's superior to anything else.

I use cheap knives, but I also sharpen them regularly. Some cheap knives are excellent. I sharpen as soon as I notice I can’t slice through a tomato easily.

My knife block has a sharpener built in. I use it probably once a month or so.

I use a whetstone once a week. It's very useful and sharp knives are safer

TBH no it is very difficult for me to go an entire day without my knives. I used to get them sharpened but being without them for a day or two was a hassle so I bought my own sharpener. I’m guessing you use inexpensive knives if you choose to replace them so frequently. I sharpen mine every 8 weeks or so.

I don’t have to; I know how to sharpen them. Guess you don’t.
