I loved what she was saying but would have appreciated fewer overly-crass descriptors, as they unnecessarily distracted from the good stuff. Particularly enjoyed the bits gifts of jewelry, the Hollywood bigwig breakup, and getting stuck with entertaining her friends’ “tens.”

I thought it was hilarious, much better than the last one.

I didn’t think it was funny at all, so I shut it off after 20 minutes. I was also really disappointed in Rachel Bloom’s special, too.

Her first two specials had me laughing so hard I was crying but maybe bc I can relate to her childbirth and mom jokes more so than the divorced humor. I just didn’t find this one as funny. Was missing something. Her also exist for this one also wasn’t as funny. I think at this point she can stick with acting and be done with stand up.

She's a 6, but is she a "kind 6?"

She started off very funny but then the jokes just got sad...I felt the same when I saw Chris Rock's special post-his divorce. I was not sure if she was trying to be personal, but if so it didn't feel authentic.
Also, on one hand she was talking about going for ugly guys but then the specific stories were hot 24 year old, hot older surfer and hot Japanese drummer.

The douchebags on here are ultra conservative and very uptight. Also, her daughters appreciate the cash she earns from standup. She is divorced and needs a check. Married schmucks do not understand this.

As a now divorced woman, I found her latest one especially cathartic. She’s hilarious.

I thought it was uneven but a few bits were really funny. I haven’t finished it yet, so obviously I wasn’t totally mesmerized. The whole thing about the breakup with a bigshot director and how she has no interest in maturely communicating like an adult was great, I thought. Maybe just cathartic for this happily married yet somewhat frazzled full time working mom who sometimes needs to NOT have another conversation, lol.

Side tangent: Ali is dating Bill Hader, who I have a huge crush on. He also seems to be living his best life post-divorce, first dating Rachel Bilson, Anna Kendrick and now Ali. I loved the idea of Anna Kendrick and Bill Hader, as they both seemed a match in levels of quirk, but what do I know, haha!

But, to cut her some slack…maybe divorced people have to play up their freedom to try new sexual partners because it is one if the few things they have “gained” in their change of status. I am sure that they are well aware of all they have also lost.

Wow very well said.

Ohh. Love her. Where to stream? HBO or Netflix?

Yeah. I’m lazy. Please feed me the info. My kid is hogging tv.
