Nothing. We hired a counselor. I know everyone will say a counselor isn't worth it, but if you can easily afford it, it's awfully nice. Allows you to disengage from the nitty gritty of the process. Also DC LOVES the counselor and is happy to take feedback from her. From me, not so much.

Yes, lots of EA too. Most in close to final form.


I don’t understand why it has taken over your life as a Mom. Honestly, why are you so involved? Cut the apron strings.

Nada. Because my kid needs to do this themselves if they are going to be successful at college and in life. Helicopter parents: time to land now!

My ds is mostly done. Has submit 3 of 9 EA applications. The other 6 are ready to go.

I haven't helped a lot lately but I do give an extra set of eyes before he hits submit and I helped edit his essays that he primarily wrote this summer.
