I normally don’t buy bottled, but the hurricane reminded me to stock up.

I think bottled water has its place, but i wish there was more of an option to buy in cans or cardboard containers. I was reading the other day how Liquid Death water was originally started to move away from plastic water I bottles. I think its a great idea, but liquid death is too expensive for people to buy larger quantities. It be nice if they sold lower priced water in different packaging.

This is my mom. She goes 30 min out of her way to buy them as plastic water bottles are banned in her town. She's convinced the water in her town causes cancer (possible but no definitive proof). I've researched companies to deliver water to her like an office water bubbler situation. She doesn't want them. It makes no sense to me.

Plus, OP is thinking about the normal situation when the tap water is readily available but it is not always the case (case in point - hurricane or power failure, etc).

Lots of stores are low on water and TP right now. People are buying to take down to NC hurricane relief, to stock up because the hurricane made then think about it, or to stock up in a generalized panic over the dock strike (now averted).
