I believe this is true, yet I still think this is an extortion attempt.

I hate to not believe someone, but this also feels fishy to me (as PP pointed out, I had the same reaction to the discredited Rolling Stone story).

And it's super unfortunate, because one liar can diminish other valid claims.

I read on twitter that the alleged acrobatic stunt is actually a consensual scene in the movie Team America (involving 2 Barbie/GI Joe dolls) and seems impossible to pull off for several reasons (including the gravity defining strength Brooks would need to have). Plus once he’s got her hanging upside down, how exactly is he able to ….. without using his hands (which are occupied holding her ankles). I don’t understand. He only has 2 hands/arms.

I just don’t buy that a woman who claims to be raped than turns around and says in texts to him that she is always willing to offer her services to him when needed. This story reeks of extortion.

((% of people in the entertainment industry are sexual predators and have SA someone.

They get away with it for years because

1. They just don't seem like the type.
2. They can spin it as an obsessed fan, a scorned lover or employee.

3. The story just doesn't seem believable.
4. Fans will defend their favorite and attack the accuser up until their favorite is hauled off to jail sometimes even after.

I don’t buy this one at all. Should be lots of evidence though. He must have proof of extortion to sue her. There is no way he hung her by her ankles, and for someone you have a professional relationship with to suddenly walk towards you naked with an erection asking you for sex and saying they have been dreaming of this….sounds like a Harlequin romance novel. And despite only being part time she agreed to go on a trip and stay in a hotel room with him after this first alleged event happened?

This one doesn’t make sense at this point.

Pretty much everyone knows an affair is how his marriage to Trisha Yearwood started. It was quite the controversy back in the day. But that has nothing to do with someone accusing him of rape.
