Is it OPM who does the desk audit or agency HR?

Anonymous wrote:Don't do it unless it's officially in the title. I was once voluntold to be an informal team lead among others in the same grade that had extra responsibilities without any extra pay. It went well until someone came in and completely refused to go along with any of the structure I had set up.

Anonymous wrote:I am already an informal lead at my agency. I guess the higher ups are planning on implementing formal treat lead positions, which will be advertised. So technically, some fool off the street can come in and take over what I have built up over the past three years.
