Did they actually have that many students who registered for the course or took an AP French Lit exam? By that many, at least 50+ across all MCPHS?
What kind of question is this? I am a parent whose kids took French at Whitman. I was told by a French teacher that the AP in Lit had been phased out. That's all I know. Its a terrible reflection on MCPS and the people who live there.
So all you want to do is bash MCPS without doing your research? How many times do we have to tell you that it's a College Board decision and not an MCPS decision? Do you even understand that the College Board is a private company that administers AP exams and controls AP course content? That none of this is the purview of any high school, public or private?
Keep your hair on, Janice.

Uhm... the College Board stopped offering it. I doubt MCPS told the College Board to phase it out. You can stop clutching your pearls.
I was TOLD by a BCC French teacher that it was an MCPS decision. So sue me.
So the teacher was mistaken.
