I don't think a Costco chicken bake would taste good cold, and I considered those a treat growing up.

I wouldn't worry about rewarming, but I'd worry about chicken sitting around unrefrigerated at room temperature for hours before being eaten. I know someone who ended up in the hospital with massive food poisoning by being an idiot and eating a room temperature TV dinner that they left in a filing cabinet at work.

Is a chicken bake, like, a chicken casserole? (?)

They’re like Hot Pockets.

Okay I changed my mind. You can’t send a leftover hot pocket in a lunch box. I can’t believe anyone has ever saved half a hot pocket or that it’s even possible.

When you buy a hot dog or slice of pizza or a chicken bake (for the uninformed it's like a fancy hot pocket) at the Costco food counter, how is that not fast food?

My kids don’t like cold things if they’re supposed to be eaten warm, so I don’t send leftovers. Otherwise I wouldn’t mind if they would eat it.

If we order pizza we purposely get more to pack in lunch that week. Ive never really sent other types of leftovers but my kids are picky.

New poster. You could put leftover chicken over a salad.

Anonymous wrote:I send leftovers if I think they’ll be yummy enough cold. I don’t know what a chicken bake is but I definitely don’t think the Costco part is an issue.

Not YUMMY?
