Anthropology is broader than culture. It includes the subdisciplines of biology/evolution/ecology, linguistics, archaeology, and yes, cultural anthro.
I think of sociology being more structural and related to social dynamics and behavior — how groups relate to one another, and how individuals relate to groups.
I was always fascinated by anthro — maybe bc it has a wider sweep — but for some reason could never get into sociology.
