You could ski if you wanted to unless it's too early season. Take the Aguille du Midi cable car up for a view of Mont Blanc. It's really easy from the airport.

I've been to Yvorie in the summer. It's okay, I'd recommend Annecy or Chamoix (but I haven't been to either as of yet). We did a day trip to Montreux and visited the Chillon Castle, which was beautiful. Otherwise, I just use Geneva as a way to go home!

this - I'm sort of regretting adding a day in Geneva for "recovery" from snowboarding before we head back home.

came searching for things to day in Geneva for 1.5 days before a flight home after a week skiing. Hopefully everyone will be exhausted because there doesn't look like too much to do in Geneva. Looking forward to good fondue and chocolate

I agree with all the previous posters. Plan to get out of Geneva. It’s boring. Last time I was there I went to Yvoire. But recommend chamonix and annecy first.

The Swiss government (?) started a train service also between Geneva and Annecy, but it takes a very circuitous route and thus almost an hour and a half.

The bus is likely faster assuming normal traffic- around an hour.

There is a also the Musee d'Art et Histoire (Art & History Museum) on the edge of Old Town. Several tram and bus lines stop there.
