My maternity leggings were the single most comfortable item of clothing I've ever owned. I would have worn them forever if they didn't pill.

I WFH and I live in leggings. Lulu are my favorite. I wear longer t shirts with a hoodie or longer oversize sweatshirts. For shoes, I don't give it much thought. Birks or cute sneakers.

Thanks everybody, so much!

If only it were true that the 44+ crowd gets a forever pass. In my gigantic, crumpled linen shorts yesterday I walked into school behind a mom my age who was wearing a sleeveless flesh toned leotard, long leather skirt and python flats. She actually looked amazing — her extreme thinness, simple but legit jewelry and expensive hair sold it, plus she works in the arts world. I can’t compete with that but I have to do something!!!!

By the way, I asked about socks because soon the shoe-legging interface will be the only thing visible. Some people wear more interesting socks with combat boots and Chelsea boots, but how?

That said, everything is oversized now, so you are at a great time for finding oversized shirts and loose fitting pants that hide whatever it is you want to hide.
