It's as painful as I've heard it isI am on meds, but the rash is sooo tingly and red and gross. Thankfully today is my day off work but I am scheduled tomorrow. What is a good cream/spray to use on it to keep it from driving me crazy all day?
Call Dr for Valtrex. I got it at 36 following a covid vaccine

These are 2 that absolutely are proven effective at disease prevention.
Op here-I've done the Cologuard, but was not offered the Shingrex-although it seems the age has been lowered to 50 for that.
I guess I got it from stress-a parent passed away earlier this year, and work's been a handful also. I guess it all accumulated and lowered my immunity.
OP I don't mean to stress you, but cologuard is not enough. Get the colonoscopy. It could save your life or prevent you from experiencing a lot of misery.

Shingles can be a side effect from any vaccine. It can be a side effect of COVID.
But let’s be realistic, a 53 year old who isn’t aware of the Shingrix being available to them for 3 years hasn’t had a COVID vax since their first 2 shots in the pandemic.
Well, that's a question for OP. Did you get the new covid booster, OP?

Actually there's a great spray version of it now. Dries quickly. Very effective.
