How frequently does he play/practice?

I wouldn't do too much ... just make sure he is playing outside as much as possible. Any younger siblings? He could play tag with them, red light green light, etc.

He should ride his bike if he has one.

Maybe one or two days a week, take him to a park with a track and do little running games and drills. Keep it fun.
