As a landlord I do not ask the names of who will be living there on the application form but I do let renters know the capacity of the home. I ask for names and dates of birth on the rental contract. I have a clause that anyone living there for more than 2 weeks after tenancy get permission from me first. One tenant negotiated that to 1 month because their mom was planning to stay longer than 2 weeks at a time.
