The new Percy Jackson series was very well done - my daughter loved it.

We both yell at the TV when Rory or Lorelei do something stupid. And we joke about “date a Dean, not a Jess” when she is older — but then realize that Dean is an idiot for getting married right out of high school.

+1

+2 One of DD's all time favorites! We did have good convos about Rory's choices.

Oh man, I LOVE Friday Night Lights!!!

Very adult-y, as my 12 yo said. She has zero interest. I'm waiting another year for Cobra Kai due to the terrible language. DD loved Anne with an E!

I think going old school is great. I’d also recommend:
Facts of Life
Family Ties
Sabrina the Teenage Witch (the old one with Melissa Joan Hart)
Boy Meets World
Laverne and Shirley
Mork & Mindy
Carol Burnett
Fantasy Island (with Ricardo Montalban)
The Monkees
Who’s the Boss?
I Love Lucy
MASH

Cosby - The show itself was really great, if you can look past the star.

Ugh, the Cosby Show was the best ever. I hate that it makes me feel icky now.

Family Ties and Laverne and Shirley. Wow had forgot about those, thanks for the reminders!

Three's Company is also a great one for laughs.

Is she studying a foreign language? Could be a good time to watch shows in that language or do a "great courses" or TED talk plunge.

Sitcoms from the 1980's, plus British Baking Show or whatever it's called. Also, Dancing With the Stars just started.
