You need a big car WAY WAY more when kids are in college then when young.
My one kid was in Boston for College other in Delaware I was picking up and dropping off all the time tons of stuff. Plus family vacations with three full size adult kids with five suitcases you need big. No longer three little kids

My kids are young adults and my DH recently bought a Kia Telluride SUV. I just realized it has a 3 row. In my defense, it was folded down and hidden from view.
