I have sensitive skin and I swear by the vanicream daily moisturizer. I would pay $100 a tube for it if I had to. In the winter, I buy plain argan oil on Amazon and mix that in or layer it at night.

+1

I'm a lawyer and learned all about this when taking a depo of someone who ran a shampoo/conditioner scam (they were selling the expensive stuff you buy in salons not only online but also to drug stores -- totally watered down with cheap stuff; this kind of thing is pretty big business).

My friend, a derm, uses Oil of Olay. I use Eucerin or Aveeno.

I have dry skin too and recently decided to try drugstore moisturizer. I chose Aveeno Calm + Restore Oat Gel Moisturizer.

It's fine. I'll use it up. But won't buy it again. It's nowhere near as good as the stuff from The Body Shop that I was using. I will probably just go back to that. Or maybe I'll try a different drug store one. We'll see.

It smells like old lady

I use the Oil of Olay sensitive skin formula and there's no fragrance at all.

I agree with this with the addition of sunscreen as a crucial part of a skincare routine to address aging. I personally buy the cheapest moisturizer I can find. They all do the same thing - add moisture to the skin. I prefer to put my money towards tretinoin, Botox and sunscreen, and I go cheap on moisturizers.

I don’t have sensitive skin, but this cream burns for whatever reason.
I’ve been using Nivea.

Same re: the Hydro Boost! It’s like fire.

I use Cetaphil light face/body moisturizer and add a few drops of TO’s squalene oil.
