I'm sure others have had a more rigorous schedule than listed above, but I think it is reasonable that someone with that schedule would be closer to the top than the middle for rigor.

OP, your child will be fine. This website is only going increase your anxiety. I posted upthread that my child got into almost every school he applied to with merit, and many of these schools are highly regarded by even DCUM standards.

If I posted his stats prior to the admission cycle, in certain this site would have told me he had no hope.

This. AO’s evaluate in the context of your high school! If a high school offers APs to 9th graders typically that is highest. Furthermore the types of AP’s matter: 8 APs English/Geo/World History/Psych /Bio/calcAB/econ/Physics1
Is not the same ballpark of rigor as English/APush/Chem/Phys1/PhysicsC/BCCalc even though the latter is 6 not 8.
Choose based on what your student can handle. If they are ready to take the maximum rigor at the high school, the teachers will invite them into that program/path. Other than extremely high ranked feeder private schools, T20 acceptance is for the highest rigor.T50 is not nearly as hard. High but not top rigor suffices

APUSH Sophomore year. Was in IB program.

Freshman year: AP Computer Science, AP Human Geography

Sophomore year: AP Calc BC, AP Spanish, AP World History, AP Stats

Most schools don’t allow 9th graders to take AP’s. So you are not going to get the answer you’re looking for here. Inquire with your school counselor, friends, fellow parents etc

Soph: Human Geography (B-5)and AP world (A-4)
Junior: APUSH (A-5) AP Spanish (A-5) , AP Lang (A-4) and AP Bio (A-3)
Senior: BC Calc (A-4) APES (A-4) and AP Gov (A-5)

Also lots of leadership, paid work, coaching and athletics.

DS course load is similar and his dream school is UVA

If high school guidance counselors have to rate the student's schedule for rigor, wouldn't it make sense that the kid who took AP's IF offered freshmen year have a more rigorous schedile?
