I don’t buy fancy jeans. Most of my jeans are from Gap, J Crew, or Madewell.
+1, you have to fit your body. I have the opposite body from PP (I have a long waist) and high waist jeans are very comfy for me but mid- or (horrors) low rise are uncomfy. A little bit of stretch in the fabric is good too.
Also, wear real underpants that cover your skin where the jeans rub. I don't understand people who wear skimpy underwear with jeans, it's so uncomfortable.
