More people died in the sinking of the Titanic. What's your metric, number of deaths divided by years past?

Sure

The sinking of the Estonia scores a 28. The sinking of the Bayesian scores an 84.

Why are people talking about the Estonia?

There are youtube videos about MS Estonia with the captain calling 'Mayday'. Horrific to listen. It went own very fast. I was in high school in Estonia when it happened.
It was shocking because nobody expect it to happen that day and age. The country is so small; many people knew someone who was on it.

Are you positive it wasn’t that Amtrack that derailed out west? Your retelling is very similar to that of the surviving passengers.
