I don't know what your definition of "predominant" is, but according to US News and World Report, Dematha's student population is:
30.6% White
45.5% Black
12,7% Biracial
11.2% Hispanic
Minorities are 70% of the student population.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but not to their own facts.
Looks like it’s predominantly White, Black, Biracial, and Hispanic.

This forum is dominated by the white liberal moms of DC, Bethesda and Arlington who send their kids to the so-called big 3 or big 5 private schools, in DC or Bethesda.
Dematha is in PG and you know what they think of PG County.

I wonder if they compete more with the Good Counsel crowd because of location.
It’s not “all the way out” in PG. it is no more than 10-12 minutes from the DC border and no where near as far out as Good Counsel.
I imagine most parents aren’t choosing between those two schools as they are more than an hour apart during rush hour.

It caters to boys of all backgrounds, racially, economically, socially and academically. It's not trying to be anything other than DeMatha, which is what makes it a truly unique and special place.
