That said, the NL leagues are of a higher quality than the VA RL leagues - so depending on your EDP level, you may be getting a higher level of competitor.

Not when looking at the better VA RL teams. Teams like 2009G GFR and 2010 Arlington RL tend to start players who could be (or were) ECNL subs at other clubs, and who outmatch EDP squads.

The main issue, and the reason I partially agree with you, is the bottom half of VA ECRL is way below EDP (where there is more parity). The new ECRL clubs in VA aren’t helping anything.

Aggregate goals for / goals against in the first two games of ECRL

- DCSC girls 7 / 43, this club doesn’t field a 2008 team.
- LMVSC girls 4/44

Then you have clubs like Stafford (5/20 in one game day), PWSI (4/12 against McLean), and BRYC (7/43).

I feel like ECRL needs a promotion / relegation system.

For the 2009 team how does a roster of 26 work??

I believe you can only have 18 rostered for game day. The others are out of luck unless they can guest play for another team within the club.

NL is the highest. The others when they have red and blue are split between maryland and virginia.

Red and Blue is north and south. Figured they used South Atlantic in the conference name so not using it again

The NL teams on the girls side are not higher quality than ECRL. Especially at the older ages.
