You are supposed to use the coupon on the DoorDash app, not directly with a restaurant, dummy.

+1. I had two bad experiences and that was it for me. Then I found out how squeeze the restaurants to use then and I won't use them or Uber Eats. It's bad for the restaurants and I want them to stay in business.

Instead of DD insert any other company that offered a coupon that didn't work and you'be singing a different tune. It's not about the fact that she ordered food. It's about the fact that the company offered a coupon for her troubles that is completely useless. This one went right over your head. Perhaps next time hold off on being nasty until you have really through about it?

Keep calling and emailing until they give you a better refund/coupon

Maybe it excluded some restaurants and it was in really small print. Or had specific hours or required you make a full price purchase of something and then you can use it.

Sorry it didn't work, I would be pissed too but tbh I wouldn't have bothered to call. Just email them and use it another day.

And I have done pick up for door dash and other apps because it saves delivery fee and larger tip fee.

Maybe a bunch of other people wanted free stuff at the same time you did.
