Not a memoir, but I read “The Ghost Map” as part of a book club and it was great.

In the Dream House of an excellent memoir written in a very odd, but engaging way.

Eve, by Cat Bohannon. It's an exploration of the evolution of the female body, and what that tells us about the evolution of human beings. Fascinating, well written, and easy to read. Lots to talk about.

Not the person who suggested it, but All That She Carried is great!
