Well they don’t know if he’s straight. He could have his 37 year old boyfriends over too.

I would be flipping out, but also wouldn’t want an 18 yo boy in the room. A parent on our college board said that a suite mate of their daughter has been having loud sex in their suite bathroom at night, each night during freshman orientation. That would also make me flip out. Roommate issues are the worst.

It's ultimately a useful experience. It's nice to be inclusive in theory - trans, non-binary, all good. I guess age is the issue here. It's obviously not gender. So next time, make sure that's stipulated. Age is their red line. In the meantime, welcome to inclusivity.

That is not OK. My DD is in an off-campus apartment and they were clear that they may place a random "townie" with her to fill a bedroom as they lease per bed and bath; on campus - no way.

It's a little weird that there isn't an age limit on undergraduate housing.

What is the suite setup? I had a 5 person suite that was three individual dorm rooms attached to a common bath area. Two doubles and one single. One year I was the single and barely even talked to the others.
