For whatever reason, the pool practices were also moved to a grass field rather than turf. Arlington grass fields are notoriously awful and not conducive to "developing" skills. Not to mention that if it's rained out it's simply rained out and there will not be a makeup. We know that fields are scarce in Arlington but it's clear that even Rec gets field prioritization. Hard to justify the cost of ADP versus what you actually get.

How do you know which fields are turf vs grass?

Supposedly it all starts in just a few days?! Why haven't we gotten a team assignment?! My kid's rec team will have had 3 practices by the time we even start. We should have stuck with that.

I was just coming to post to see if I had missed it. I got the invite from TeamSnap but it doesn’t have any schedule information in it. Practice schedules are way more important than games schedules.

Team assignments? Yes. Game schedules? No. Those were also quite late.
All that said we really liked the program. It's a big step up from rec.
