Subject: Magnet bus stop distance
I drive 8 miles to my son's magnet bus stop. This is my second year doing it and when he can drive his school does not allow student parking on campus so have 3 more years of this.

Every year a bunch of kids drop out for transportation reasons after starting. If your family can't swing it or it will create too much stress don't do it. MCPS schools are all very similar and unless your child has special needs or some kind of other issue they will be successful at any of the schools.
