BASIS has a pretty rough history with IEPs. It would not surprise me at all if they were essentially creating a self contained classroom by putting all the IEP kids in the same class.

Seems like you know nothing. How long have you been at the school? There was a federal investigation of BASIS’s treatment of students with disabilities.

This is such an ignorant and ableist comment. And there are many diagnoses/reasons besides ADHD that a student might have an IEP or need accommodations.
What is ignorant and ableist about the comment? PP said that lots of people have ADHD so there may be a lot of IEPs in a class for that reason. The different diagnoses/reasons make no difference. The end result is that most students have ADHD and need an IEP, or a 504 at the very least.
