Wrong. A clay court tournament is less prestigious than a hard court tournament in NYC with the biggest payout.

I totally disagree. Famous people and celebrities purposely attend the US Open to be seen and photographed. One of the biggest stars is an American woman and the US men’s players have more interest excitement than they’ve had in 2 decades.
